Business Development Representative - Medical / Education / B2B Sales

Past employees have realized between $75K to $140K+ in income within the first 12 months with Energy Harness.

We are dedicated to giving you the keys to success to drive maximum lead generation, develop high-value client proposals, and successfully deliver turnkey projects. The position is compensated with a base salary plus commission. In addition, we offer Medical, Dental, Vision, and Paid Time Off.

Overview / Your role:

This Senior UVC Solutions Advisor will serve as a Region-based commercial leader responsible for assigned regional industries such as Academic, and Health Care accounts. This role will develop and manage the customer interface at the HQ and site-level hospitals and school districts within the assigned accounts. You will use a proactive and consultative approach to cultivate new key customer relationships and deliver profitable share growth in the UVC Air Purification product division and will provide sustained leadership and guidance within the sales organization among peers and colleagues. You will identify customer needs and develop commercial solutions that will further the strategic partnership with the assigned hospitals and schools. This position will work collaboratively with other Solution Advisors from our LED division to farm existing relationships, while in some cases jointly pursue new ones.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, manage, and grow relationships in the health care and educational industries.
  • Responsible for overall business volume, equipment orders, and revenue within assigned strategic accounts.
  • Evaluated on specific objectives within assigned book of business
  • Relationships with key stakeholders – Director of infectious diseases, school superintendents, and facility directors
  • Develop and implement short and long-term strategic plans based on key customer initiatives.
  • Manage successful implementation of contracts and agreements with assigned accounts that lead to growth in sales volumes and additional partnership opportunities.
  • Contributor to the creation and maintenance of sales playbooks, account plans, and documentation of best practices.
  • Develop and maintain executive and department leadership relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Evaluate and quarterback team coverage plan for assigned accounts to execute on a strategic plan.
  • Demonstrate proven and sustained leadership and influence among peers and colleagues.
  • Understand accounts operating model, business challenges, critical metrics, issues goals, and growth strategy
  • Solidify the Trusted Advisor Role by providing market insights on industry trends, competitive landscape information, and air quality information that assists the account in reaching its goals.
  • Build a strong internal network and align key players to support the delivery of value to our customers and execute deals.
  • Maximize the customer experience by creating a predictable process of information gathering and exchange to aligning the account team to present a coordinated and efficient approach to the customer.
  • Initiate internal collaboration to validate and execute the account strategy and deal execution.

  • Must be able to quickly adapt to a changing marketplace.

  • Creates and maintains detailed and accurate account/opportunity plans and reviews/updates and communicates these with a regular cadence.
  • Ability to navigate a dynamic environment with proven ability to balance competing demands and priorities as well as operate independently while building a successful sales pipeline/channel.
  • Demonstrate proven track record performing the BDR essential responsibilities in previous role at the time of hire.
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to build an effective sales business plan and to identify short and long-term goals to help achieve overall zone/company objectives.
  • Must be able to travel extensively. (>50%)
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum: 7 years Industry experience with a quantifiable successful sales track record.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Self-Driven Income (base salary starting at $36,000 to $48,000/ year + tiered commissions)
  • Commission structure based on materials for collected invoices per month
